How to reinforce Aqua View cord

    Had to send in my Recon 5 because water got into the lens. Repair was covered by the warranty but the unit will soon be off warranty soon. Was pretty careful with this camera and saw no damage to the lens or cord. Is their anything that could be done to reinforce where the cable meets the camera? This seems like a natural problem area. Thanks

    Mine has that little nub too, any harm in adding silicon glue to that spot?

    Silicone should work just fine with no harm to the cord or head
