How to make white sauce for pickled northern

    Does anyone have a recipe or know how they make the white cream sauce for pickled fish like what you can buy in a store? I like pickled herring in the white sauce and want to try it with some northern. Thanks in advance for any help!

    It is just sour cream in the recipe that I use. I have added a little Cajun spice to it as well. Enough to turn the sour cream a little pink.
