Call the DNR. I needed the FSC for the same reason, I took the class in 1981. I was amazed the had the records and sent me a new certificate.

Do you actually need a certificate. I just went to Montana and Wyoming last year all I needed was my driver’s license. On your license it should say firearm and that was good enough for what I needed

I don’t think it’s listed automatically, you had to have requested for it to be added.

What state did you complete your HS in?
If it’s wi, go on the gowild site and
Log in. There is a spot on the right side of screen that you click on for your certificate. Print it out – it’s free

You can go get a new one printed at any place that sells licenses. It’s like $3 to have a new one printed.

Thanks for the info Randy! It’s only been 24+ years since I got mine, but it was listed as you stated. So I now have it printed and stored for future use!

You can if the records were entered in the system. At the time I needed a copy of mine, they had not back-entered data from the 1980s and before. Bottom line is if it’s not on the website, call and they will look it up.

Excellent service from the DNR. I was very surprised they had records because I took the class in rural MN in the 1980s, so very pleased the record of my completion made it to HQ and was available all those years later.
