3 of us will go for one full day, Should we Ned jig on the humps? Live Bait? Not a big fan of having 3 in a boat casting in all directions so I was thinking I might run the boat and drag a minnow right bellow the boat, has anyone tried that approach? Read about it in In Fisherman, use a circle hook and a chub. Any help would be great, Thanks

I would’nt use the circle hook.I have used the kahle style hook up on GB in the fall with 4-6 inch chubs and it works great.I have tried circle hooks and have had poor hook up percentage.I have not had a problem with the smallies getting gut hooked with this hook.

I was on Mille lacs in early October last year with my brother.
We were Lindy Rigging Chubs and caught a mix of Smallies and Walleye. We fish rocks from 18 down to about 25.

Move up shallow, use jerkbaits and bounce them off of rocks. Tubes and Neds will still work as well.
