With only 7 days remaining on the current 2020 regulations and with lots of new lakes ( I hear around 100 ) having new special regulations, it sure would be nice to see something in print. I can not find anything on the Minnesota DNR website.
I always thought they came out close to the opener in May? I think we’re a few weeks away yet. I could be wrong though.
I just picked up 2 of the 2021 regulations in booklet form today at Kiess in cold Spring.
The article stated the DNR would be posting signs at all the affected lakes, but I got the impression signs are behind schedule. Who’d a thunk that.

I know of more than a few lakes that have had special regulation for many years that still don’t have anything posted at the landings.

Well a fair amount of new special regulations go in effect on Monday. Hope they have something available someplace by then. Hard to follow regulations that you don’t about.
You’d think the DNR would have their Shh togeth….oh, wait…..
I mean, wouldn’t you want to have the new rule bible available when your customers buy their licenses for the new season?

i just picked up my new license. first……not sure what all the fuss is but it was easy peasy. they just scanned my and my wifes drivers license…….done deal!!!!!!!
secondly i took a quick look at the new book, on e lake i know in particular the sunfish limit was reduced…..it was in the new regs. all the pages with special regs especially the new onnes……..are highlited!!!!!!!!!
They will be available on line on March first, I emailed the dnr.

Slackers they didn’t have them before the new regs go into affect.
