I have a 165 Classic, that needs the floor replaced. How much should I expect to pay someone,to do this? Any suggestions on shops doing this type of work?

My guess is $4-6k. There is a place in Delano, Mn (Anchor Marine) that brings boats in from all over the country. I had work on a boat done there once, great job.

I would call alumacraft and see if you can buy the floor panels precut and carpeted. That would be the easiest, if not available, they are carpet wrapped around plywood. It is not a very difficult diy job.

I’ve done it a couple times myself. Cut out the old floor and lay new 1/2″ treated plywood and screw into place onto the existing supports then precut the fiberglass mat and lay in place and staple it so it won’t move. Mix the resin and with a cheap brush pour the resin out of the mixing container and brush it in and on. Only mix what you can quickly use in about a minute because the polyester resin hardens quickly. Try to brush down all the fibers from the matting. Make sure all the surfaces are free from grease and motor oil etc. It really isn’t that hard and its the same thing a repair shop would do.
