We got rain here because the freeze line was about 30 miles north of here along hwy. 20. From there north they got snow, just wondering how much you guys got. Redwing blackbirds and robins are here plus apple trees are budding nicely and flowers are up about 10″, it won’t be long now and had a chance to rewire the boat and am putting in a big livewell here soon.

Not a flake here in the NW Metro. I’m told the line between snow and no snow was around the Highway 7 area of Minnetonka/St.Louis Park.

Far south metro up to a foot. I know of two people that reported that. In Woodbury we got about 4 inches at my house.

This doesn’t answer the question at all but it’s funny how “up north” is such a relative term. I live in SE Minnesota so “up north” means something different to me.

    Funny story….

So a couple years ago there was a bad summer storm with winds and hail damage all over the place. As some opportunistic folks do, some guys from Texas were driving around offering estimates to repair damages. One of them is talking to my dad and my dad mentions how he has a son that teaches high school in north central Minnesota. Guy from Texas responds “you mean there’s more north from here?”

None on Phillips, not even a flake. In Tomahawk my father in law said they got 4″. Just 40 miles due east or so.

This paints a pretty good picture. I’m about 40 miles north of the snow line.

Ma just called from Milwacky. Ice storm took her power out since last night. She just got up while we were talking on the phone.
