how much rain??????

Getting a ton of rain here in mound right now. 3rd day this week with a fair amount of rain in this area

Massive down pour in Chaska right now.

Heavy rain here too.

Got blistered in Woodbury. Water in the basement.

Another inch in the garden rain gauge in Richfield. It only rained for 40 minutes.

1″ in Minnetonka from the first wave and its raining again now.

Just a few drops here in Cloquet today. Grilled steaks for dinner and the deck was barely wet😩
We really need about 2 weeks straight of good soakers….

I have received over 5 inches of rain just this week so far. That’s more rain than the entire rest of the summer combined.

Nothing up north where we really need it!

NOAA is predicting pool 3 up a foot, to up 3 foot on 13-14 in the next 5 or 6 days. Hopefully drop the temp a few degrees in the process. Sure it will also get the grass flowing.

No rain up here. We do have a easterly wind this morning so the fire smoke is pretty thick.

From last week friday until last night I was at 4.5″. Didnt check this morning before i left but assuming its up quite a bit.

yesterdays rain total when i looked last night was 1 and 2/10ths. not sure what we got overnight yet!!!!

and the only place i see puddles are on the street!!!!!

From last Friday to this morning I have gotten 3.1 inches in Minnetonka. I have the 2nd lowest backyard in the neighborhood and it is not even hinting at being squishy.

Yeah, the dry ground is really soaking it up. On a normal year we usually get a pretty good crop of nightcrawlers on our driveway/sidewalk after a good rain. Even after the 5+ inches of rain in my area over the last week, didn’t see a single one. Not enough moisture to drive em up.

Coming straight down here. Looks like a soaker. Feeling a bit bad for the guys fishing the Bass Tournament. They were scheduled to start coming in at 3.

Glad to hear you’re getting some in the northland! Hopefully it’s a good soaker for a day or two to help with the fires, and catch up.

Still coming straight down. I think this is the most rain I’ve had here since I moved in a year ago. Much needed.

My rain gauge was emptied yesterday at 1.5in. So far today it is at 4 inches and expecting more.

had 5″ in the gauge from thursday to friday afternoon, got another 3″ last night, plus water we had from earlier in the week. Easy to say we have received 10″ this week. Going to need to post “No Wake” signs in the yard we got that much standing water.

We’ve had about 15″ since Thursday night here in north Iowa. I wish I could send some of it up to the guys fighting the fires.

The radar looks pretty ugly to the west. If this stays together and heads east they may get help fighting those fires up north.

Only have had 1/2 inch so far from the last few days.

Forecast yesterday all day was thunderstorms, predicted an inch of rain. Got nothing…

Same forecast for this evening, hopefully we get some.

I had the same one and bought it at hardware Hank. Unfortunately a branch hit it and it busted.
.94″ yesterday and .37″ this morning. I think that brings out total over 3″ this week. Much needed for sure. Glad it didn’t all fall at once too.

Radar looks like a big storm is currently near the BWCA and the fires. I hope they are getting rain up that way

1.5 inches yesterday. That brings it to 4.6 in the last 9 days. The low spots were squishy this morning and the grass has greened up in most places.
