I have 5 over 54” with a 55” being the biggest. All from the metro. Muskie fishing use to consume my ever waking moment but since I became a father I only fish Muskies a few times a year now. Times have sure changed.

37” shoepac hit a leech on a crawler harness . They were pounding our walleye baits that year . Even chasing our stringer over the edge of the boat

Three over 54 personally and have netted two others. Unfortunately the biggest one I have ever seen hooked came off a couple feet from the net. It was a legit 56-57″.

Biggest tiger was a fat 45” – from Tonka of all places.

That’s a rare fish because they aren’t stocked there. So it was a naturally produced one in your case. That’s a massive tiger too. A 40+ incher is like a 50+ inch pure strain.

I have personally witnessed a 50” tiger. Presumably a “naturally hatched” monster. It was massive – fat as can be. Crapped all over the boat when netted.

Remember that tiger caught on the St Louis River several years ago? I dont think that was 50″ but it was enormous!

Those are some slobs! Is that last pic the Sartell Dam? Ive seen guys fishing there for muskies and heard there are some big ones in there, but its so hard to get a boat in there unless you have a riverpro or some small boat. Ive ice fished out there and its a smorgasbord of species.
