How many entries on average?

Just kinda curious how many entries are there on average for the awesome giveaways the the sponsors and IDO graciously donate?

I say 117.

When I was a teenager we took a trip out to the black hills and stayed at a sweet ol log built lodge, anyway was talking with some people also staying there and the woman won the trip for her family there. She stayed at home and entered contests and giveaways for a living and through the conversation I was absolutely blown away by how much stuff she had won her family over the years. Video game systems, whole furniture sets, multiple trips per year, the list goes on and on and since then I always wondered how many people are out there like that and how lucrative it could really be. Interesting conversation at the time at least.

There would only have to be 2 entries for me to not win

I have won a few things recently (all on facebook), and here’s my tip… find things that not many people have followed the rules on.

First thing I ever won was a Striker Suit from IDO last year on facebook. Simply had to like, share, and comment. You can see how many times the post has been liked, shared, and commented on, and some people just don’t follow rules- those numbers should all be the same. So odds were already decent, say 1/500, just by people not following all the rules.

Won tickets to a Tim McGraw concert by commenting my favorite Tim McGraw song on a radio post, well only about 30 other people also commented. For a 1/30 chance to win tickets, sure, I’ll comment.

Have won numerous BiPro (protein water/shake company) products by also simply commenting on posts that not many others have.

If it’s something where I see thousands others have also done the necessary steps to enter, then I’ll generally not sign up.
