I’ve got both the northern lights and lewandowski (spelling?) rattle reels in my house and I like them both. I’ve learned that you really can’t have enough places to hang bibs, jackets, etc. to dry. We have a hangar that is on our closet/bathroom door, as well as multiple hooks in the closet/bathroom. It’s also nice to keep a space heater in the house. We use ours during initial setup to help the house heat up faster, but my wife, who is perpetually cold, likes to have it wherever she is fishing. A broom is also a good addition; we use this after drilling holes to sweep away any ice shavings that made their way onto the floor. Lastly, my new addition this year is little totes to keep in the cupboards to help keep stuff organized. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried to keep things like plastic silverware, plates, garbage bags, baking tins, etc. organized in the cupboards by the end of the season everything was mixed in with everything else. The totes really help to keep stuff separated, as well as keep everything from sliding around during transport.

    Hope this helps!
