apple crisp with vanilla is good. I also like warm apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. hard to find cinnamon ice cream but that’s a real treat around the holidays.

Apple pie is tough to top, but apple sauce is a close second with me. Apple fritters are another prime chewable in the apple line-up.

My mother did a lot of canning when I was growing up all those years ago. It is becoming a lost art and todays kids don’t know what they are missing. Apple sauce and sliced apples for mid winter pie’s were always a hit around our place.

Here is a pic of my apple tree’s. Every day I just go pick one off. At night it’s a feeding frenzy with the Deer cleaning up what fell during the day. grin

Love apple crisp, or a good apple pie.
I was up north fishing with some friends over the week end and brought an apple crisp up that I made, and it was a hit.

My husband Billy also makes a magnificent apple pie dessert, complete with homemade crust and apples from our tree. I found this in the oven when I got home one day a couple of years ago. I love extra pie crust, so the wording on top was perfect! grin

Plain, crisp, or in a good homemade apple sauce. Pies are ok, but not my favorite

Apple coffee cake. Just finished freezing the chunky apple sauce to make pie’s, crisps, cakes, or just eat plain or over greek yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream. Got enough for at least a year.

I just ate 3 different kinds on my daily walk. The neighborhood apples are in full swing! My Mom taught me how to make a mean apple pie but I hate doing it and my wife and I dont want a whole pie sitting around here because we’ll eat it!!!!
