My buddy cought this little feller a couple season back but we didn’t have a way to measure it or weight it. My buddy is about 6ft 1in and about 270lbs in this pic.

From that picture guessing the weight is pretty difficult. He is kind of holding it towards the camera which distorts the length quite a bit. It doesn’t appear to have a lot of girth so that would drop the weight some too. I’m guessing at the length and girth measurements and then extrapolating that to the Flathead Weight Conversion Table – so I’m guessing 40″ length and 24″ girth which would put it at right around 30 lbs. That does seem a little heavy but it is in the ballpark probably.

For the record, I am horrible at eyeballing all measurements. Pounds, inches, miles, I am horrible at the all.

I was going to go with 22 pounds before I read the other guesses…but I’ve come to the conclusion on these “guess the weight” posts that it really is what the fella that lands it, wants it to be. 
Kinda like my tax man test. What’s 4 + 4? The guy that always gets the job says “what do you want it to be?” LOL!
