Green weeds are really showing signs of dying… turnimg light green/yellow or just the stalks left. With the late Slring and cooler summer, we really never saw extended weed growth and now water temps are already in the mid 60’s and most likely will see an early Fall transition. Not necessarily a bad thing as far as good fishing – I’m ok with that as long as Fall lasts a long long time for once in a great while…
FINALLY got on a good frog bite this morning. Caught about 15 fish in about 2 hours. Water temps into the 60s already.

Love it. The brakes aren’t quite as good for skipping but it is one of the best deals on the market. Still has the TWS which is the real game changer. Go over to the bass boat central forums and you can generally find them for around $20-30 cheaper from someone selling them.
