Can anyone give a SCRL Walleye report?

    I won’t be able to get back upto the chain for a few weeks, how’s the Walleye bite going? Have they moved to the 10-15 ft depth yet? Are they chasing crank baits?

    The weed bite is just about over. Caught some while using jigging spoons for crappies a while back. I have a next Thursday thrugh Wendnesday off so I should have a good idea of whats is going on. I will be at the St. Croix and Mille lacs too. FULL MOON TIME!!!!!

    I saw a couple of boats get good sized walleyes trolling the channels with shad raps (They kept everything they caught though)

    I fished Horseshoe last Friday.
    Found a few small eyes in about 6-10′ water near the shoreline breaks. Nothing too big, none over 17 inches.
    The catfish sure eat minnows on a jig, I caught 6 or so that just pounded the jigs-n-minnows!

    It was a nice day to be out, but overall the bite was rather slow.
