Bass Fishing has been going pretty well the past few weekends, lots of numbers but size hasn’t been there yet. I’ve been having a blast catching smallies during the evening hours on Horseshoe lake, the numbers of fish has really been increasing over the years. Brother in law lost a monster smallie this past Friday, it’s nice to know big fish do exist. Fish are moved off the beds and seem to be hanging on structure instead of roaming around. Spinner baits and Jerk baits have been the lures of choice. Tubes, Jigs and soft plastics will start to become popular over the next few months. I sold my old boat last month and am trading in my old lift to Richmond marine next weekend, it’s nice to get the old stuff finally taken care of.
