Any updates on Muskie stocking in the chain?

    I’ve pinged the SCRL association but haven’t heard back yet, last I heard it was between the Sauk and a lake up north.

    I think Muskie stocking would be a great idea on the chain (and no they don’t effect walleye populations, this has been proven by the DNR)

    I heard back from the SCRL association and the Montrose area DNR manager, there will be further discussions around the topic of Muskie stocking in the SRCL in the next few months. Make sure to let the SCRL members know you’re interested in bringing trophy muskie fishing to the Chain.

    The key to getting this done is contacting the SRCL association. Write a letter, it goes a long way.
