    Had our first group openner on Ceder Island lake this weekend. The fish were there but we just could’nt get anything going. We ended up keeping 3 for My Dad and Myself. It was my Dad’s first openner in 69 years! I think he had a a good time, I hope you did Dad! Thanks for going

    What did you have for a water temp?
    Did you look for any crappies in the shallows?

    I’ll do that D, We did’nt search for Crappies although just around the corner from the cabin on Ceder Island lake I was marking a ton of fish Suspended. Groups,not single fish. Didn’t have any crappie minnows along. Ya know that really nice house on the point of C.I. ? Really nice place,all windows? His cabin is back in the bay from there. About as deep into the corner as you can get.

    I think I had 53 degrees.
