Is Becker getting more polluted with weeds?

    It’s starting to get that really thick bright green weeds over by the highway 23 side, never had that over there until this year, always seemed to stay on the otherside, this is not good, that stuff is nasty and doesn’t hold fish because it grows upto the water surface….Anybody heard anything from the DNR on it?

    Yep it’s bad.

    We had a Tournament on the 10th. Becker had completely changed from the year before. The weed is like fine plastic fibers. Normally our troller will cut through milfoil, but this stuff just wrapped around into huge wads.

    I don’t know what it is, but it makes Curly Pond weed look good. One of the guys called it carpet weed.
