Walleyes must be full of Mayfly Larva

    Third week in a row tons of Mayfly larva skins on the water surface, I’m catching Bass and Pike but Walleyes have shutdown, anybody else having luck, if so what lake?

    I was in a Bass T Saturday. We found Walleye in Becker lake. Plastics, spinners, they were biting on everything. The one’s we caught didn’t have alot of size to them, but then again, we didn’t want Walleye. 8 to 10 feet in the weeds seems to be the spot.

    Hmmm… I Too have seen Walleye in Becker, it’s not stocked with Walleye but they do migrate in from Horseshoe, I’ll give it a try next weekend..

    Skeeter, after the water temps climbed to the mid 70’s I lost the Walleye bite where I was at. Way down by the 71 bridge and beyond. Sounds like they are hanging in the weeds. I didn’t make it up there last week, so I will have to start the search all over again.
