Sauk River Catfish North of Richmound

    Made it out last night with my cousin and between the 2 of us we caught about 30-40 catfish in about 90min with 10 of them being over 17in.

    The skinny part of the chain between Richmond and Farming can be very good for catfish, any deeper hole in that stretch was fun place to target cats.

    It also helps to know a few of the farmers who have land along the river.

    Pretty sure you could throw a worm on the bottom anywhere in the chain and catch catfish all day.

    Sadly with the rain last week our best spot to fish from the bank is now under 2 feet of water.
