I been going to try one of these for a while and finally got time to do it. I am curious how this will work. Put it up yesterday and put a cam on it so we will see.

What’s the theory? Back scratch, or a buck will actually rub it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a natural horizontal rub…

For some reason they prefer to rub on a horizontal tree is what I have read and seen.

Search you tube for Ted Millers horizontal rub.

There is also a Midwest Whitetail episode about them. I’ll see if I can find it.

I used to think the horizontal rub was the bees knees, but once I was exposed to the vertical rub, my life changed for good.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s always a time and a place for a good old fashioned H-rub, and as I get older it’s definitely less taxing, but don’t discount going vertical!

Ever since I burned my Nikes, I have a hard time getting vertical enough to rub…..
