Hoot Today With The Boys

    Had a great time today with the kiddos

    Went pike fishing but found a bunch of cooperative bass instead. They had a blast chasing flags all afternoon. 24 sucker minnows disappeared pretty quick jester

    Looks like a great day!!
    I recall doing that when my 2 were younger, when it was slow and they were not looking a well placed snowball tossed to trigger the flag at the furthest tipup would keep them active all day.
    That is untill one of the snowball ended up in the hole and my boy figured my trick out.

    What a great day out there. I love taking my son there for tip ups. Its always a good bite there. We will see you out there one of these days.

    They just turned 6 and are in Kindergarten now.

    Crazy how fast the time goes by….

    It seems like yesterday when their first words were Mom, Dad and Shish (Fish jester )

    They’ve been catching their own fish since they were two years old. I’m so proud of them and love that they still beg me to take them fishing every chance we can.

    One day girls and sports will take that away from me bawling

    Man, that is so awesome! I took my kids out for the first time ever yesterday and it was pretty dang fun!! Lot of work, but so worth it!!
