So this year I wanted to get back into catfishing. It had been at least 15 years since targeting these whiskered beauties. Most of my past catfishing had been done on pool 14, pool 15, and the Rock River in Illinois. So between going through all the old posts on this sight among other research I had quite a successful year. It was topped off by boating 6 channels over 10# on pool 2 Thursday. These are by far larger cats than I ever caught when I was younger. Every time I show my Dad pics of the days catch he ask “why doesn’t anybody else fish for them up here?” Well I know there are others that chase these kitties and they are probably on this sight. I wanna say thanks for all the info you have posted. Also all the flatties and channels caught this year were photographed, if big enough enough, and released back into the muddy waters of the ole Mississippi.

If not for catfish it would all seem as boring as ice fishing.
