When I am on plane at about 27 mph I lose the bottom signal until I come off plane.
I have tried it in two different starboard locations, moved it up and down from the recommended position, change the angle etc etc.
I need the depth to work at plane since the Hook 7 is my only unit.
All the sonar settings are at default including ping set at high and everything looks good at trolling speed.
The tripleshot is selected in the transducer choices menu.
Should the tripleshot work on plane?
Many say they have high speed transducers/units in addition to side/DownScan units.
I could forgo the Side and DownScan if I could run a good wide angle chirp that works at speed.
Any suggestions?
Either for other models of Lowrance or other brands in the $500-600 range with 7” screen and a chart.
The picture is of the baseline setup I used and then moved up and down from there.
