Holiday gas

Does anyone know of a holiday gas station in the metro (preferably the west metro) that sells non-oxy gas? I normally fill up the boat at SA in town but if I use my cub card I can save quite a bit per gallon at holiday stations. Looking to fill the boat up before storage.

Does anyone have an issues with holiday gas? I’ve heard that their gas can be bad but I’m not sure if there is any truth to that. If their gas is bad I’ll forgo the savings to preserve the boat.

Past company had holiday gas cards for all the work trucks, and I’ve been a regular user of their gas as well and never had a fuel related issue.

Can’t recall ever seeing non oxy at a holiday in MN.

Until winter I’ve been burning E85 from Holiday in my truck…flex fuel vehicle. At least 80 cents less per gallon.
Bill’s superette in Andover for non-oxy in the metro area. The Junction NW corner of Mille Lacs is where I get for my boat but might be a little out of your way.

Kwik-Trips all over sell non-oxy. FleetFarm stations do too. I haven’t check the two new Holidays here in Roch but I’ll bet they sell non-oxy just to stay in line with the other stations that do.

That might actually work out great because I store my boat in Richmond. Thanks!

Use the app “Pure Gas” to find non-oxy gas. Looks like the stations in Shorewood and Navarre have it, plus many others in the metro.

I believe that the holiday on the west side of 494 on bass lake road does in Maple Grove. It’s the one right next to the BP gas station.

I’ve been filling up with Holiday gas for close to 20 years and have never had an issue.

Does anyone have an issues with holiday gas?

Seeing as all local stations get their supply from the same couple spigots the chances of just Holiday getting bad gas is slim. The typical reason you ever really see of getting bad gas is on stations with low turnover in their tanks. If it sits too long it will absorb moisture and go bad.

I’ve never seen non-oxy at any Holiday station near me.

Saw a sign on one of the Alexandria Holidays this morning saying they have it. Must be pretty new for them here. I have always gone to Cenex for my non-oxy.

so at the risk of sounding like an idiot im just going to throw this out there, what is the difference between 91 octane gas and non-oxy gas? Is 91 gas the same thing as “non-oxy”? I see stations that have a separate pump they label as “non-oxy” but it always just says 91. then there are stations that claim to sell non-oxy gas but when you get there they have no separate pump but you are just supposed to pump the 91 oct from the normal pumps. Ive always felt more comfortable using the stations that have a separate dedicated pump meant for non-oxy gas to fill up my boat but maybe this doesn’t matter? I’ve heard conflicting things on this subject so thought I would ask. I want to put the best fuel available though my boat engine so not looking to cut corners or settle.

Did you do this? You just have them scan your Cub card and get a discount? Been meaning to try it, as I love me a good gas discount but haven’t yet.

You can just scan the card at the pump. it will change the prices at the pump right there for you. I believe you can save up to $1 a gallon. Ive been saving up my cub points for my 34 G boat tank grin

The BP and Holiday at 494/Bass Lake both have non-oxy, it’s on the pumps closest to the shared entrance at both stations.

I really disliked that app the couple times I’ve downloaded it, just keep this bookmarked instead.

I hate to tell you there is a 20 gallon limit. The pump will stop at 20 gallons. I put 20 gallons in my Tahoe for $1.36/gallon today, though. waytogo

Holiday in Cold Spring might not honor Cub card as the nearest Cub might be a decent distance away. Might be worth a call before you leave the metro.

All Holiday Stations do…I use mine frequently at the Holiday in Garrison, miles from any CUB store. Also noted last time I was there they just added a non oxy pump. Must be for the influx of bass anglers in their rocket boats. razz

Nonoxy is almost, almost impossible to find down here anymore. Most of us use the StarTron enzyme fuel additive in our boats etc.
