Looking for suggestions on light, water proof, warm, good dexterity gloves. I wear nitrile gloves underneath. Has anyone tried the Striker Attack or Striker Stealth gloves?

I run the second Striker Second Skin gloves and have been pretty happy with those.

One thing I use a lot when hole hopping is a Hand muff that I wear around my waist. I keep one of the chemical hand warmers in there and it works great to quickly warm up the hands after they get cold. The only down side is that thing starts to get rather smelly after a few days of putting you hands in there time after time right after handling a fish. I tend to get that out of the truck as soon as possible after getting home and hang it in the garage. The wife was not happy the one time it ended up on the bottom of the laundry basket after several days of use.

X2 on the muff and handwarmers!

Only thing I’ll add is a golf towel clipped to your bibs is critical to keeping hands dry. And by “golf towel” I mean an old cotton t-shirt with a carabiner attached.

I have been running the Striker Attack gloves for two seasons now. They are my go to, plenty warm and enough dexterity to hold a rod and fish. I love that they’re waterproof and I can pull a fish out of the hole no problem, just have to deal with the outside of them freezing in extreme temps. The only dislike I have is that they’re really hard to dry out after washing them. The waterproofing really gets in the way of that.
