Anyone else use one of these new hole covers with a rim? Picked one up at Milwaukee ice show and used it a few times with the tip-up. Has not been real cold yet. Used it last weekend with temps. in low to mid teens and cloudy. Kept my hole clean all day while my uncovered holes skimmed over requiring frequent cleaning. Next week will be the real test with temps. forecasted in the single digits for highs.

Purchased a few of these recently to go with the tip-ups of the same name???
So far I’ve been impressed with how they’ve performed fishing in temperatures of low teens and above. The rim makes it simple to seal everything off. As you mentioned, have yet to test them in very cold conditions. I do like the fact I can organize them in my bucket.

They are 11″ outside diameter 9″ inside. I use it on an 8″ hole. Should fit a 10″ hole or smaller. Yes, would work on a 6″ hole.
