    It talks about how he use to get into fights as a kid because they moved so much and in each town kids would want to challenge the new big kid in town. Talks a little bit about how he was such a “teddy bear” off the ice and how much he loved his family.

    Then goes into how he got addicted to pills after his shoulder surgery and his love for the former Wild GM who gave him his shot. He went in and out of a few rehab facilities and how she should up drunk to a Rangers practice. His brother also talked about how he would get panic attacks and forget who was at times.

    The real sad part is about his death and how his family found him and also the struggles they had to get into the states when it happened.

    Does have a funny side on how Boogy became a fan of Buddhism and collecting Buddhas.

    Sorry if this is choppy but just giving you the sparknote version of it.

    Overall great article and Russo is the reason why I subscribe to the Athletic for a dollar a month.

    Just saying I don’t think the guy was trying to get free Athletic subscription like you are assuming.
    I think he was just curious what the article was about.
    That’s great that you are entertained by Netflix and PPV.

    he was asking for info about something others like me pay to read. How is that different than asking someone for their Netflix credentials? It’s not. You can tell by the text in the hyperlink what the article was about.

    It could be he saw my Athletic threads in the baseball thread. In those I sometimes cut & paste the article for the guys who don’t subscribe. I didn’t this time as I didn’t know how much interest there was. Also a couple of Gleemans threads got pretty long.
