I just got back from the lake, another bomb. Lake surface temperature is 47 and the females are no longer dropping eggs. I saw a couple fish caught friday night, I assume they were males. The splashing was very minimal.
When I was driving across the dam I noticed that the Kansas department of wildlife and parks biologists have removed their nets and asked the lady at the gate when the were pulled in. She said that Thursday morning the KDWP pulled them in she also said that their goal was 90 million eggs and that they had 45 million last week and thought that the KDWP must have got the other 45 million but she didn’t know.
LADY THEY PULLED THE NETS BECAUSE THE MALES DON’T DROP EGGS
Tomorrow I am going up on the little bull arm to in search of females. But I must first.
