It’s not quite hillbilly. You’d have to put your kids in there.

Lots of ways to use or reuse stuff to make a drag. I like your rock box, good thinking.

I needed one for my new food plots and I didn’t have any salvaged material that was wide enough, so I built The Drag Queen.

An old bed spring with some weight on top works.

We used to pull a steel bed mattress spring. We have since gotten less hillbilly and went to a chain link fence with a hunk of metal.

A spring box with no weight is what we used to tease the neighbors with. They heard of a half a brain but couldn’t use it If handed to them.
Use the brain, it’s simple. Weight is needed or you have a poop drag for manure. Dragging a box spring with no weight won’t do what u need lol. Makes me re think of my old neighbors. Don’t be the neighbors who came up with a new shitty idea. Keep it simple

Why not spend a couple hundred bucks and buy a driveway drag.

What is the composition of that driveway in the picture?

It looks to be equal parts mud, clay, with a few stray rocks mixed in? We’d absolutely destroy that with our vehicles and equipment whatever it is.

It’s in need of more class 5 definitely. But the clay through the years gobbles up every load I put on it.

If you ever want to do it right just put some fabric under the class 5
