High water and wind. Still can Produce!

    Anglers keep saying tough bite out there. I’m like really…..? The wind the high water etc. Time and time again most people all they know is beat the main channel all day. Maybe it’s time you need to think outside the box. Myself I love the high water I’m like see ya! Off to the bakewaters I go! Now it’s decision time do I drift and live bait right? Anchor and throw ? Troll weed lines,clam beds,or sand flats that are normally to shallow to fish? All of these are examples that produce walleyes time and time again for myself. It’s a great time to take that adventure and try new things. It’s good to get off the beaten path. Just my 2 cents for the day.

    Yep. When the river hits action stage i believe its refering to the walleyes. Then flood stage it only gets better.
