High Fire Danger Rainy Lake

    If anyone is heading to Rainy Lake in the foreseeable future be extraordinarily careful with any kind of fire. This one happened yesterday in Black Bay.

    I see there is one up in the Boundary waters right now as well, sounding like a lightning strike. Last I heard it was around 1000 acres.

    There’s a little rain in the future, unfortunately it’s coming in the format of thunderstorms. A few well placed lightning strikes could start some serious fires in northern MN.
