Just booked a stay from February 8-10. We are staying in the loft. Never stayed there before just wondering what everyone review on this place is. We are renting their spear houses has anyone did that before? how was their ice road? Thanks anyone for your input.

We will be up the same weekend for the first time, can’t wait! I’ve heard lots of good things about High Banks, and always wanted to fish Winnie.

Big Werm be a group of about 20 of us. some guys staying in wheel houses. We also rented their spear houses should be fun. We do this every year but choose different lakes. Stop by and say hi we rented the loft and sure we will be having a few adult beverages at night.

I’m sure we will see you at the bar! I have a group of 5 East Coast buddies (NC and VA) that come up every year for an ice fishing trip, and we try a different place every year (7 of us total). Always a blast and usually need a few days of recovery lol. We rented a cabin and a sleeper.

I usually fish Winnie a few times each winter and use High Banks access most of the time. Lots of awesome multi species opportunities out of there, with lots of different structure to fish.

A buddy and I went out of High Banks last year for our ice fishing trip and used their road. Great people! We had a blast and hammered perch out there. Couldn’t have rattle wheels set for about a 2 hour period in the morning and afternoon because they were so stacked. Would most definitely go back again. Great people working there as well when you want to get out of the house and have a cocktail. That reminds me, make sure you get a to go cup from the bar! Great deal and good price on refills too!

Super nice owners there, the roads are really well maintained. Need to get back up that way one of these days. Last time I was up there could see a ton of perch on the camera but they weren’t hungry, I did manage a 28″ eye on my birthday though which made up for the slow bite.
