    Park is open but gates are locked. Signs showing an event for tommorow, perhaps setting stuff up or something. Hopefully save someone a trip.

    They do a weird/spooky Halloween event down there every year. It’s kind of cool to be the guy walking through the masses with a backpack, fishing rod, and headlamp on… Sucks if you brought a boat though!

    Bummer, had a little time between jobs and in the area thought I’d give shore fishin a time there…. Begs the question u have any luck?

    Lil birdie told me the shiners were running and upstream sounded like a good idea

    Your lil birdie may well be onto something… whistling the shiners are there, but not in the major concentrations yet. Have been getting a few smaller fish, but nothing to brag about.
