    Yum. I haven’t had them that way in a long while. I can remember picking scales off of my arms for days after cleaning sunnies as a kid.

    That’s the only way to eat sunfish!Even scaling without the pail ias pretty easy, but I’ve do a lot over the last 60 yrs.

    tartar sauce on walleye or perch is like steak sauce on a filet. cook it in butter and get a nice sear on it and it needs nothing. I do like homemade tartar with more sour cream than mayo….add some dill and forgetaboutit.
