We have a field in the back yard that they are looking to rezone and develop. As such, I have been attending or watching the Inver Grove City Council meetings to see what is happening.
At the end of the meeting, they talked about funding for Heritage Park, 60+ acres between Concorde and the Mississippi River. It is real close to where we had the IDO Chili Feed.
Anywho, I found it interesting that IGH was kicking in about 5 million, State 2 mil, DNR about 1 mil. I assume this is part of the legacy funds some voted for and was debated here? The park will have a dog area, inclusive playground and maybe a splash pad along with a covered, open air structure and picnic tables. Oh, any $7k for a water fountain. It looks pretty nice, but not sure how many will us it.
