Yep, bought this very recently so it’s still unused, in the box. I found the H001TLMB model only a week or so after buying this one and wanted the 24″ octagon barrel of that model instead, so this one needs to go.
Blued, smooth lever action, 20″ barrel, 10 round tubular magazine, 10+1 capacity, lightweight, and easy to carry. I know 17HMRs are all the rage but in ballistic energy, the 22WMR is a solid 50-60 ft.lbs stronger with 40gr. bullets, up to 150ft.lbs stronger with 50gr. bullets, and I’m seeing through internet ammo sales that 22WMR can be found for less than $8/50rds, and not necessarily in bulk. Unless you’re long ranging prairie dogs, a 22mag isn’t a sacrifice, it’s a hammer! A 17WSM can beat it, but only by 10ft.lbs, which might disappear after 100yds.
