    Hey,

I have a 2000 Nitro NC882 bass boat, I am trying to figure out where the best place to mount both, my Structure scan transducer and my 2D transducer for best imaging?

I had it there, if you zoom in on the picture you can see it there. There was way to much interference/distortion with it in that spot. Any other suggestions? Anybody?

I’m curious why you guys would mount any ducer on the extended transom area. Seems troublesome to me.

That 2d spot Chris shown is not where you mounted before. Looks like a better spot.

    It’s not an extended area???
    Here’s another pic

The 2D appt he chose is next to a ride on the hill that will create a lot of turbulence

Shouldn’t unless a strake extends out for some reason. I have mine in the same spot and at 57MPH I get a great reading. I put it there and always suggest it on skeeter because that strake/chine is flat underneath

I would say not to put it on the angle portion of the hull but on the small area where it flattens out as in the picture. It should have clean water and have water contact while on plane. I have the small areas circled in the picture.

Is that where you said you had it? It looks like it was farther over on the angled portion of the hull which I agree would have been no good as I labeled in the picture.

I have sweet drawing skills with paint haha!
