Hey guys. Currently up in Brainerd from today till Sunday. So far today has been a total bust. Fished most of the South Bay of North Long Lake with no luck. Am also fishing Hubert right now and can’t find any life anywhere. Would like to find something before driving 3 hours south to go home. If anyone has any current reports or overall tips. Just something to point me in the right direction. Tomorrow and Sunday aren’t looking too good with the cold spell that’s supposed to arrive. Thanks everyone!

I’m not sure what you are fishing for but if your looking for walleyes Round Lake, Gull Lake, or Merrifield Bay on North Long have all been putting some fish out. Have to know where you are going on Gull with the ice conditions out there but Round has good ice. 14-25 FOW depending on which lake. Shiners and Rainbows on set lines or a jigging spoon. They are getting crappies on 371 Bay on North Long but lots of people out there. Hope this helps a little.

    Good Luck,

He nailed it right on the head, Only things I would suggest is getting on one of the Islands on the main bay of North Long and fishing it. Had luck there. Was able to sight fish too, could see the walleye come up and the pike, pretty fun!

Thank you guys. I was able to catch the last half hour of a crappie bite on North Long. Was planning on going to Round tomorrow for sunfish, but if walleyes are there, that’s even better.
