Helix waypoint marking 2 connected units

Ok here’s my setup:

Networked:

Helix G2N DI at Dash

Helix chirp GPS @ Bow(uses dash units transducer at the rear of the boat for SScan/DI)

When I’m at the bow unit reading the DI image from the dash transducers sidescan(rear of the boat) and I see structure I mark it.

Here’s the question: Was this marked from the bows GPS position or the dash units GPS position?

Or does it calculate and adjust for both units?

I hope this question makes sense.

It’s reading the gps position of whatever GPS receiver that particular unit is set to read from.

Go to the network source setup screen and view your settings.

There are no calculations, the only data transmitted between the units for that particular waypoint is the gps coordinates. If the two units receivers are 50ft apart and one is on top of a waypoint the other unit will be 50ft off.
