I got a Helix 12 and a 10 for Christmas.. Wondering..what comes preloaded on them for mapping? and If I’m traveling the country is the Navionics+ a good card to get? Will it do autochart live or do I need to get the chip from Humminbird to do that? I know there is up to 8 hours just on the machine I can use. Any help would be great!

You need an auto chart chip to store additional map data. I can’t help you on the map chip except to say that the preloaded maps are no good. Get the map chips you need for the lakes you’re fishing. I like my lakemaster chips for MN and WI.
