Helix networking questions…

I have a new boat being rigged up at the dealer. I will have a Helix G4N on the bow and 2 G4N Helix units on the dash. I have only had a boat with one unit on the dash (1198 SI).

1.) If I have a Lakemaster chip in one unit, will it show up in all 3 units?
2.) If I am Autocharting on one unit with the chip, will it show up in all 3 units?
3.) Can I be Autocharting on one unit and display the Lakemaster chip on another unit at the same time?

I am getting excited for the new ride but there’s gonna be a bunch of fine tuning with the electronics.

1. No, you need a chip for each unit.
2. No, it will only show on the unit that is doing the auto charting.
3. Yes, since the mapping is not being shared across units.

Helix will not share lake chip info. Each unit you want to view a map needs its own chip installed.

Not sure about Autochart…
