I have a Helix 10 mega si that I plan to network with my Helix 7 G2N. If I’m only connecting the two units, I shouldnt need a hub correct?

Also, do they make a Helix network cable, or do I have to buy two adapters/ dongles?

Kind of dumb if I need two dongles, as that will be an extra $60!

    Thanks.

No need for hub to connect 2 units.

You will need a network cord with a helix adapter on each end. 3 items total

I have a post on this thread talking about the hidden costs of networking. Johnson outdoors likes to suck every penny out of you

It is always the suppliers fault the consumer didn’t do any research.

Those darn suppliers offer great flexibility options to accommodate everyone from Minnesota to the coast and beyond and continue to allow older generation of units to be integrated with latest generations.

Definitely hidden costs…. That or the consumer looked at a box on a shelf at Cabela’s, saw the pretty picture and tossed it in the cart.

Yeah how ridiculous of people to assume a company manufactures a single cable that networks their most popular graphs without having to spend $60 on adapters… People these days.

Just like buying a printer you think it is good deal until until you need supplies.
