Helix Ice to Boat Questions

Starting to think about hanging up the Ice rods and I’ll need a few things to mount my Helix 7 Ice to the bow of my boat

I am thinking about using the transducer on my Terrova, will this work ok? should I get a HB transducer? pros and cons?

Which power cable do I get, PC10 or PC11. my trolling motor was throwing out interference on my previous HB. would the PC11 help this?

HB will be mounted with a RAM mount, 1.5″ ball.

are you planning to mount it at your dash or bow?

for bow, the universal transducer will do, but probably won’t be as detailed.

if you plan on mounting it on the dash, or near tiller, then I would get a separate transducer for the stern of the boat.

Also consider getting a side imaging or down imaging transducer to upgrade unit.

Transducers like clean water. I don’t think I’d mount it where it has to be around prop wash.

HB tech support told me that this isn’t doable if the unit isn’t a DI or SI unit to begin with.

I have a helix 7 g2n di at my bow, it is networked to the helix 9 si at dash, i can view the rear SI transducer from my front “di” unit.
