I have a new to me 2016 boat with a Helix 10 and Ulterra with iPilot. I also just picked up a Helix 9 Gen 1. I was wondering what the networking options are? I’m not too interested in going to iLink. Mostly just want to share waypoints, views, etc.
Once you get to three items to network you will need the eterenet switch to connect them all.
If all you are doing is networking the two helix units together and not connecting a minnkota (link) all you will need is a dongle for each unit and an ethernet cord that is long enough to run between them and you will be able to do everything that you mentioned.
