Helix 7 Sonar/GPS on minnkota US2

    Does anyone know how well the Helix 7 sonar works with the Minnkota US2 ? Thinking about one of these units for my bow.

    It doesn’t. Your need a Helix 9, 10, or 12 to use the I-Link function on your trolling motor. Good Luck.

    The Hbird 200khz 2d sonar works very well with the US2. I’ve lots of experience with the 900 series on open water, and it always presents dependable data using the Minn Kota US2 ducer. I’ve been using the Helix7 on the ice this year, the 2d sonar seems very comparable to the older series, so I think you would be happy.

    I don’t think he means I-Link, rather the US2. Which I’m guessing would work just fine.

    If your Helix 7 has DI and you use the US2 you won`t have DI.
