helix 7 sonar.. no sd card slot

Looking for a used usb to unit cable. I want to update my software (as pc3 cable ) Any help would be appreciated.

Helix 7 should have a micro sd slot for updates , its small and easy to miss

There is a door on the side of the unit (right side, I think) that you have to pop off. The SD slot is in there.

I am in need of that same cable to update the Software/Firmware on my Helix 7 CHIRP DI G2. I contacted Humminbird and they no longer carry the cable. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell or borrow?
It is the AS AC3 Cable.

This particular model does NOT have a MicroSD card slot. I verified with Humminbird.

Really I never new they sold models without, nor have I ever seen a cable for updates.

Yeah this particular model does not. No idea why they did that. I am assuming because it is a non GPS unit maybe?

Have you tried throne brothers or Fish Lectronics, to see if they have any leads. That is a hard cable to fined.

I checked with my local Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops and they do not carry the cable or do the upgrade. They suggested looking on Ebay or Amazon but I have not found it anywhere.

I tried that too but when you go to checkout it says this store is not setup to receive orders

any link found for this cable/kit on the internet I would look for a phone number of the site and call vs trying to directly buy it through the site as it’s likely just an old webpage that hasn’t been updated in years and then your CC# is in use…

Sound advice. I will try that as well.

I think Ebay is going to be your best bet, somebody will be cleaning out their garage and find it, hopefully they remember its for a Humminbird and try to make a few bucks vs thinking its some random computer cord they’ll likely just toss in the trash…
