I’m new to hummingbird and trying to get my settings dialed in. It seems as though I get a better picture for side imaging when my sensitivity is like -8. I’ve heard I should be around 10-15. I get a decent picture when sensitivity is around 10 or 11. Is that ok to have a negative number for sensitivity? Fishing a dirtier lake in the upper peninsula of Michigan (Lake Gogebic). Thanks

Different depths and bottom hardness call for different settings, when I am running my Humminbirds I usually have my Enhance menu up so I can tweak on the fly.

So your saying it’s ok to have a negative # for your sensitivity if that’s what gets you the clearest image?

Yes… don’t get too hung up on the levels, but instead, the clarity of the image & adjust as needed
