I’m using the Helix 7 ice and my battery level always reads full, even after a good 14 hours on the ice. I’m using Amped Outdoors 12ah battery. Anyone know why this is?

Lithiums put out full capacity right up until they die. Unlike lead, which slowly tapers off.

Exactly correct.
4 cell lithiums batteries have a higher operating potential compared the sla batteries. A lithium starts over 14volts and runs fairly stable while an sla is around 13volts and falls quickly. The helix is designed around an sla; the solution is to have it show input voltage instead of %, that’ll provide more useful information.
Is that an option for users or something that needs to happen at the factory?

What an option? The battery? The gauge?

It’s a digital display readout option.
Thats all correct i have 10 ah litium and it will read 100% for ours then finally creap down then when it says 80% she goes fast.
On the flip side of this when you charge the lithium batteries… this is more power drill related. Is it normal for the battery to get to a full charge in like 15-20 minutes? I have never ran one of my lithium batteries to the point that it is completely drained to see how long it will take to charge to full. Seems that if I use my drill to drill 30-40 holes on the ice and then come back and charge it… 15-20 minutes later it is fully charged.
The fast charge times is one of the best features. The Milwaukee rapid charger is crazy fast.
